France — Rap

In a world where photos and words can be deleted with a ‘click’ and the ephemeral is a reason for being in itself, Georgio stands as a resisting power who reminds us of the importance of memory. Ever since his first appearance on the scene (ten years ago now), this rapper who cites The Clash, Ärsenik and Romain Gary as influences has cultivated his differences, showcased his sensitivity, highlighted both his strengths and his weaknesses, and delved into art and literature to enrich his lyrics, carried along by a flow that always comes straight from the source. With his fourth album ‘Sacré’, and two years after his first appearance at Europavox, this young artist is celebrating the people who helped him become who he is today, offering tributes over acrobatic beats and musical treats that never forget their melodic side. Just like Paris (where he currently lives), Georgio is magical. And unique.
